On 17th April, 2012 on the occasion of Rangali Bihu a cultural function was arranged by Children & Staff at Mrinaljyoti.
On 15th August Independence Day was celebrated at Mrinaljyoti by hoisting the National Flag.
On 5th September, 2012 Teachers' Day observed at Mrinaljyoti.
On 14th Nov, 2012 Children's Day was observed by organizing Dance & Art competition among the Children.
From 20th to 22nd Nov, 2012 annual function was organized among the children.
On 3rd Dec, 2012 World Disabled Day was observed with a Day long programme. In the morning flag of Mrinaljyoti was hoisted at the Centre on the occasion of World Disabled Day The women cell of Duliajan Rotary Club donated 10 nos. blanket for the Hostellers. In the evening Cultural programme was organized at Duliajan Club. The programme was inaugurated by K.K. Nath, Resident Chief Executive, Oil India Ltd. Children of Mrinallyoll performed dance- drama for one and half hour which had a strong emotional effect on audience. All the children showing their talent are Cerebral palsied. Mentally Retarded, Autistic and Hearing Impaired. Moreover Legendary Singer of Assam Pulak Banarjee, a Guest Artist mesmerized the audience for another two hours by singing his Popular Songs on the occasion. We are very grateful to all those who extended their full support by donating a good amount to make the function successful.
Further on the occasion of World Disabled Day, responding to our call, thousands of Children from local schools like St. Xavier's H. S. School, New Vista English School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi Public School, Oil Higher Secondary School, V.K.V. Tingrai, Tiny Tots, Assam Valley School, Spring Dale School and many more contributed to our Fund. We are grateful to all those Children and School Administration for their goodwill and support.
On 8th December, 2012 Mental Retarded Day was observed at Mrinaljyoti.
On 15th January, 2013 Saraswati Puja was observed at Mrinaljyoti by the children. Many well-wishers contributed on the occasion.
