Mrinaljyoti Rehabilitation Centre is a centre for the physically and mentally retarded. It seeks to improve the lives of the PWDs through the services it provides with the positive outlook to inclusiveness into the main stream society, minimize and prevent impairment, facilitate access to participate in daily life, improve educational and occupational outcomes, improve general well-being and quality of life and educate others about impairments, intervention and management. To achieve these objectives there are services that are cited below -

Aids and appliance distribution camps
Teacher training programs
Awareness programs on legal rights of PWDs
Counseling Sessions for both child and parents
Mother’s Training program
To implement these services there are trained professionals recognized by RCI. They work collectively in collaboration with each team to achieve their respective outcomes. These services acknowledge the person’s own knowledge, skill, variability, resources, preferences and needs in relation to therapy.
